There will be around 1500 things to do during the 168 hours with a huge selection of artists performing such as; Rihanna, The Chemical Brothers, Muse, David Guetta, SIA, Bastille, Tinie Tempah, Years & Years, Kaiser Chiefs, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, The Last Shadow Puppets, Róisín Murphy, M83, Jess Gylnne, Hardwell, Afrojack, Tale of us and so many more this is a festival holiday not to be missed.
ONE WEEK TO SZIGET FESTIVAL
Sziget, the week-long festival in the middle of the river Danube in Budapest, is gearing up to start next week.
A beautiful green island on the Danube, is the location of the non-stop music and arts festival, Sziget, in the middle of August. There will be around 1500 things to do during the 168 hours. The multicultural gathering where Szitizens are already coming from 98 countries will be a massive celebration.
The Main Stage will host The Chemical Brothers, Rihanna, Manu Chao La Ventura, Muse, David Guetta, SIA, Hardwell, Die Antwoord, Jake Bugg, Bastille, John Newman, Sigur Rós, Tinie Tempah, Years & Years, Kaiser Chiefs, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, The Lumineers, The Last Shadow Puppets and more!
The OTP Bank A38 stage will bring its well-known vibrant atmosphere this year with: MØ, Travis Scott, Kovacs, Editors, Unkle, Kodaline, Róisín Murphy, Boy, Bloc Party, Tourist, The Neighborhood, CHVRCHES, M83, Fidlar, Jess Gylnne, Crystal Castles and many many more! The electronic party scene will shift this time as well to the Telekom Arena where Afrojack, Vinai, Dyro, Fedde Le Grand, Zedd, Nicky Romero, Laidback Luke and many more will entertain Szitizens.
Sziget is the Island of Freedom and also the winner of the ‘Best European Festival Line-up Award’ in 2015. To live up to its traditions, the festival continues to build its identity offering a diverse and open-minded program, making sure that it is much more than ‘just’ a music festival.
This unique atmosphere has been the essential part of Sziget from the beginning, merging a diverse music line-up with many programs beyond music where visitors can experiemce everything from theatre, dance, circus art, games and more!
